SATA DOM / FDM - Flash Disk on Module
Our selection of Serial ATA Disk On Module ( DOM ) products are based on reliable NAND Flash and plug directly into nearly any motherboard to provide a quick, easy, low-cost storage solution for embedded computers. Why bother with custom storage solutions or full sized hard drives if you only need 8GB or 16GB of disk space to run an industrial application? These DOMs are made to fit most any enclosure. Our Type-1 and Type-2 SATA DOMs feature an industry standard 7-pin header. Both products are identical except for the positioning of the connector which allows it to fit into tight enclosures. The Type-3 SATA DOM uses a 22-pin SATA connector at a 90-degree angle, which means it mounts parallel to the motherboard and can fit in very low clearances. All three types are available with MLC flash in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB capacities.
