Our new USB 2.0 Disk On Module ( DOM ) products are based on reliable NAND Flash and plug directly into nearly any motherboard to provide a quick, easy, low-cost storage solution for embedded computers. Why bother with custom storage solutions or full sized hard drives if you only need 8GB or 16GB of disk space to run an industrial application? Designed in very small form factors, these DOMs are made to fit most any enclosure. These USB DOMs are extremely power efficient, sipping a mere 150mA (max) in active mode and far less in standby. They boast greater endurance than HDDs, as well as superior resistance to shock, vibration, dust and temperature extremes.
